The year of 2009, despite the global economic restructure, the CEO& CIO Club has still remained the role as an important forums, workshops, seminar, presented-awards for it members which we has a great result with attracted many more members to the club. If you are like many of us, you have struggled balancing your work with your "real" life. While these 3 issues are not new to the profession, the focus on billable hours and competitive pressures over the last several years have made balancing work and life even more difficult for many of us. The CEO&CIO Club – which has been around for over 3 years – is starting a multi-year effort to address these issues and provide new CEO&CIO and new CSO with practical solutions. This effort – entitled “Balancing work Life” in July 2009 in Hochiminh City – promises to be the centerpiece of an exciting time for the members and guests. For example, we have already lined up Dr. Do Hong Ngoc, to speak to the Club members and IT leadership in July. We have many ideas like this project in the planning stages for the 2009-2012 “Save energy-save our planet” year, where we have the great speakers from IBM, Jim Corgel and Girish Vasudevan, who have been shared with us the “SMARTER PLANET”. However, we cannot implement these ideas without the continued commitment from members across the country. Whether it is serving on one of our many task force or project teams, or even taking a responsibility. We are looking for people like you to continue to stay involved. In this almanac, you would discover those memorial sights of the 12 months activities with a such busy year of the club as signing “the Memorandum of understanding” with the Korea Venture Business Association (KOVA), bring almost 100 members/guests to Singapore for the Indochina Business Leaders Bridge Forum with the 21 Countries/territories of the APEC Summit in November, where are also explore the site visit of National University of Singapore (NUS), A*Star, Intelligence Controller Center for SMART and exchange the business matching with the partner that country.
