VDC Increases Int'l Internet capacity to 34.5 GBPS

Company (VDC) under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT)
officially announced the deployment of one more 2.5Mbps line, increasing the
total capacity of international transmission lines to 34.5Gbps.
This increase is aimed at meeting higher customer's demand, especially for
broadband services such as video conference, data transmission, e-learning...
To date, the total capacity of VDC's international Internet traffic reaches
almost 34.5 Gbps, and the company plans to increase this to 49 Gbps in the
coming time./.

“Public Internet access points” within Period 1 of the Project “Improving the
capacities of using computers and accessing public Internet in Vietnam.” This
